Everybody who is interested in global politics, the United Nations and finding world-wide solution to pressing challenges and who is between 16-29 years old.

We are always looking for sponsors to partly cover the costs of FlensMUN. Unfortunately, not everything can be covered so that we have to ask for a small fee of 35,00 €

This fee covers the lunch on friday and Saturday, all coffee-breaks, entry to our social and academic events and drinks at our welcome event.

Everybody should have the opportunity to participate disregarding their financial situation. In financially difficult situation we can cover the participation fee. Please feel free to reach out to us.

The aim of FlensMUN is to create a realistic simulation. It is therefore necessary that delegates are aware of their country’s position. We strongly advise and recommend every delegate to prepare a short position paper for their country.

A quick guide can be found under the documents sections.

We are trying to make our conference as affordable as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free accommodation to everyone during our conference.

Luckily, we have some host families in and around Flensburg that have offered free accommodation (not including food). If you would like to stay at a host family, please feel free to contact us and we can connect you with a family. This works on a first-come-first-serve basis.

If you want to organise your own accommodation we can recommend Flensbed. If you use the promotional code „MUN Flensburg“ when booking directly through their website or email, you can get a 5% discount. Reach out to the lovely Flensbed team via email or through their website.

Flensburg can be reached by both bus and train. The main train-station is halfway between Campus and city. Busses depart in both directions (campus and city) on a regular basis.

If you want to take the public transport to get around in Flensburg check out the local bus company, Aktiv-Bus. You can find their current ticket-fares here (unfortunately the website is only in German but Google-translator should help).

We have uploaded the preliminary schedule here. Please note that minor changes might still occur.

The Dress Code is casual business attire, consisting of a shirt or blouse, trousers, or skirt, during sessions. Please refrain from wearing any national or political symbols during the Conference. An exception is made for symbols of the UN or its bodies and sub organizations.
